It is CAAE organic certified and FSSAI certified (FSSAI No: 12418027002627). Also known as Kachi Ghani groundnut oil, chekku ennai, or wood pressed peanut oil in South India.

The groundnuts are sun-dried and then pressed at room temperature using a traditional mechanical pressing method without applying external heat or chemical solvents. This preserves the natural nutty aroma and flavour of the groundnut oil. The result is an unrefined, chemical-free, hexane-free oil — just as it was made traditionally in South Indian households for generations.
